Frequently Asked Questions

Everything we thought you might ask about us.  Of course, we would love to answer any and all of your questions, so give us a call or drop us an email.

How do I register for class?

We want to be sure you are having a great time and are safe, so we do ask that all registration and waiver of liability forms be completed before attending your first class. Please call or email to begin registration.

What is the cost and how do I pay for classes?

We have a couple of different options - punch cards or seasonal specials for longer periods of time.  You can pay via PayPal, or by check or cash. Please make checks out to: Stroller Energy Enterprises and  hand to the trainer at class. We can invoice you through PayPal, simply send an email to  or call 707-299-0771 or 707-363-9809.

How many classes does Stroller Energy offer?

Currently we offer four classes per week in Napa; two at Fuller Park and two at the River Trail.  Classes start promptly at 9:30am. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the class. Please feel free to share your ideas of dates and times that work for you.

Do you exercise year round?

YES! We have access to indoor facilities in case of bad weather. We only cancel classes in dangerous weather (i.e. 90+F, -20F, high winds and lightning). Call 707-299-0771 or 707-363-9809 one hour before start time of outdoor class to see if it has been canceled or moved.

What are the classes like?

Classes run about 55 minutes.  Everyone says Stroller Energy is hard, but it is not as hard as the day in the life of a new parent. In five classes, you will feel fit, thinner and have more energy. Basic class outline is 5 minutes of mommy stretch, 25 minutes of cardio strolling, 10 minutes pushing stations - for our soon to be shapely legs - 10 minutes of bench work for arms, waist and abs and a 5 minute cool down.

How big are the classes?

Class size ranges from two to ten.

What kind of stroller should I bring to class?

Whatever stroller you and your baby like, as long as the brakes work, the baby can be strapped in securely and the stroller provides protection from the wind, rain or sun.

What will happen if my baby needs me during class?

We are all moms and have been there before!  Crying babies are never a problem.  We are all moms and can relate to the needs of baby.  Trainers will create a “mobile station” for you to tend to your baby while other moms continue to work out. Be aware that the trainer cannot watch your baby as they are watching moms exercise, but they can assist you if you need help.

Can my toddler get out of the stroller?

The reality is that older children like to be active too.  Toddler wants to be with mom too!  Let them see mom workout: it is a great way to teach them early on the benefit of physical activity. Pushups with 35 lb 2 year old can be a great workout for arms...better than any gym equipment.  We ask that children stay secure in strollers during the  “pushing” section of the program. The mother has to be responsible for the toddler’s safety. We prefer children to be in the stroller for their protection.

What should I wear and bring?

Wear cross training shoes, supportive bra(maybe two), bring water, water and more water to stay hydrated and dress you and your baby for the weather, which for Napa may mean layers.  The foggy mornings warm up quickly and Kennedy has been known to be a bit cooler than Napa proper. Wear sunscreen!

What if I am really out of shape?

We all had to start somewhere, right!  I laughed the first time I tried to do a sit up after having my first son. I think my head cleared the floor but that was it!  Many of our moms start Stroller Energy out of shape but you know it is the first step in getting fit and feeling stronger.  We think it takes about five classes within a three-week period to feel the results of the program.

When can I start Stroller Energy?

When you have your doctors okay to exercise and you are ready to commit to fitness. Call us and we will stroll you through the registration process and/or get you set up with a membership that is right for you and baby.

How much is the membership?

There is no "membership" fee, you only pay for classes.  As long as you are taking classes with us, you "belong" to Stroller Energy and we consider you members of our community.  Prices range depending on the class option you choose. Remember, with Stroller Energy, you are not paying extra for babysitting...it is a small investment in work that will pay off well after your baby is a bigger kid. (that does happen, trust me!) We recommend three classes a week to see best results.

Can my partner come to class?

YES! Husbands and partners are ALWAYS welcome free of charge.  They should see how awesome you are as you power that stroller!

Refunds/Freezes There are no refunds on any membership or class. Please purchase a membership that works for you. All package memberships have expiration dates. You can extend expiration dates on punchcards if you become pregnant (again) and are  too ill during your pregnancy or have an injury.
